You have also direct access to 17 routes for mountainbike and e-bike. In wintertime the cross-country slopes are nearby and to the skibus (public transport to the big skiareas) is only 3 minutes away.

Summer holidays in Ramsau am Dachstein

Ramsau am Dachstein – land of enchantment in the middle of the austria alps. Protected in the north threw the mighty Dachstein and open to the south with an epic view. Ramsau am Dachstein is a high plain above the enns valley, perfectly located for hikes and walks in clean, fresh air. Further up to the mountains is the playground for mountainbiker, climber and ferratista – Klettersteiger. The Dachstein itself is the highest mountain of styria, has the easternmost glacier of the alps and lots of sightseeing points.

Wintertime in Ramsau am Dachstein

Sparkling meadows, lots of sunshine and clean, fresh air – this is Ramsau am Dachstein. No. 1 in cross-country skiing in the alps with 200 km of cross-country slopes. If you are not that familiar with cross-country, just walk around on 200 km of walking paths. In really cold nights about 2000 stars can be seen in the nightsky and dont forget to try a Glühwein or Jagatee in one of the 80 huts across Ramsau am Dachstein.
